Cheers

By the way looking for this soding RIB any ideas any one.
2nd hand RIB 8 mtrs loa upwards can afford to spend on just RIB between £ 3,000 -£5/6,000 depending on condition.
Anything CE marked and Cat B can be considered.

Thanks!!
Looks like a nice boat. The selling price is fair also.
The unfortunate thing is that I have a twin engine set, hyraulic controls etc. This is the reason I only ask for just the hull and tubes only and nothing else.

Does`nt say any size but it looks like 7,5m or bigger, pic is very small so it`s hard to se, engine looks very small so boat looks big.

Ocean rib

Or

Humber 8,1m

a little over budget but sounds like a bargain.

Pro Sport 9m

The prosport is a nice rig but not usefull for want a RIB for (unfortunately).

Any way so far have emailed about the OCEAN RIB someone called Ken Brown (2 emails) and heard nothing.

Probably the boat has gone??
In my view is very bad manners not to reply to business emails (I think)

Rapier

I know a couple of guys who have a 28' rapier coming up for sale. Available with or without seats and consoles, with a double a frame, new tubes, with or without an engine, with or without trailer.

Interested????

Finding your boat has never been so easy

ATLANTIC 24 | £10,995 Calculate Costs

ATLANTIC 24, 7.3 metres, new tubes by Henshaws in 2001, including new decks, console and hydraulic steering, 1997 Mercury 150hp PTT, ballistic s/s prop, twin axle galv, Bramber roller coaster trailer. £10,995. T. 01502 712538 or Email: sales@ayb.co.uk
Ref: RSKF

Buy this one then you'll have one of the best hulls ever made and a boat that will last far longer than the engines. You can cut a deal with me on the old engine and trailer to reduce your spend.

Jono I thought that you understood the situation.

The rules say that the boat should be 8 mtrs or more and even if the boat is 7.95 mtrs (which is not), Cat B, CE marked etc.

Any way your calculation, unfortunately, is not correct.

It should be 24ft / 3.2808 mtrs = 7.315 mtrs

Is unfortunate that this is not the right boat

Manos, "should" and "shall" are completely different words in English. How about putting a swim platform on it, that should be popular in Greece. But seriously were do you think you are going to get 8m for that price ?

Pete

Pete hi and Happy New Year
For 6K max I thought that I could get a 2nd hand hull.
I only want the hull with tubes no engines or anything else on the boat. I have sourced all that already.

I will give an idea about prices of NEW RIBs in Europe.

Prices include console, seating, A-frame and nav lights

ARTIGIANA BATTELLI AB840(2) 8.40mtrs Euro 31500 - Cabin
BAT 850 Diving 8.50 mtrs Euro 25150
BRIG/IMAR IMAR850 SPORT CRUISER 850 mtrs Euro 78000
BWA NAUTICA EIGHTFIFTY AMERICA 850mtrs Euro 39000
FB INFLATABLES ANTARES Monosh 8.20mtrs Euro 20000
LOMAC 950 Club 9.50mtrs Euro 29480
MAR.CO MARINE Twentyseven XL 8.40 mtrs Euro 41850
MARLIN BOAT 28FB TOP 8.35 mtrs Euro 39500
SCANNER D800 8mtrs Euro 18800

So a second hand RIB hull only for max 6k or Euro 9000 is a VERY FAIR DEAL!!

After editing: Prices are from Il Gommone Magazine

My 3 helpfull points...

1) That Atlantic is fantastic value, who is specifying your 8m rule?
2) You'll never get an 8m hull to meet your strict criteria (ie post 1998) for £6k in the UK, if they are so much cheaper everywhere else... look there!
3) What the hell is a Euro?
