It was the four-stroke Selvas that were made by Yamaha, so not these ones.

As far as I remember the two-stroke Selvas were fairly basic technology, but a pretty good deal for anyone not bothered about badge prestige. I'd put them in the same sort of territory as Tohatsu.

I wouldn't be put off this boat because of the make of the engines provided they are in good nick and e everything else checks out. After all it would probably be out of budget with a more sought after brand on the back.

Unfortunately the last few weeks have changed my outlook for the foreseeable future. All purchases on hold until job clarity is made clear
