Tornado hull 4.9m

Anyone got a 4.9m Tornado with knackered tubes/collar for sale?

Anyone know how the collar fits on the hull? The bloke at Tornado, where this rib was designed says it's an official secret as it was designed for the MOD.
Form an orderly queque to break the law.

There are two sets of clips running along the inside of the collar, making it detachable.

humble apologies for replying to my own post. Need to be "on top" so to speak.

I am willing to look at any hull which is this size as I am going to attempt make up my own attachments. Anyone got anything ?

If you see a large black sponson floating about the Atlantic next Spring check to see if I am hanging onto it.

Sam

RIBase
I haven't got a Tornado for sale.
Neither do I have any knowledge about the fitting of tubes.
However, if I see a black sponson floating somewhere in the Atlantic next year, I promise to give you a wave.

Much obliged to you for your kind offer of support; waves are in such short supply in the Atlantic that your offer to provide one is stunningly generous.

I notice from your details that you only have one leg which you have nicknamed "Bravo".

I assume therefore that you will be waving with your crutch.

I'll keep a weather-eye out for your big stick.

tornado tube you have was a slide on tube i think with plastic sliders on tube and tracking on hull it cant have been that good as i have only ever seen one in 25 years personally i would not bother with the tube as you will find like all old tornados it will start to leak on the seams unless it is a welded tube like the newer boats if you want more info give me a call 07815144269 or01803833309 Paul
