Another rib to consider is the Ribcraft 4.8, fits in a garage deflated with the trailer modified (hitch removed)

I had considered both those ideas, but if I'm going to go down the "dismantling the trailer" route, I might as well go pick up one of the many SR5.4 hulls that are kicking around for a song.... Also in/deflating every time falls into the "hassle" category, which I am also trying to minimise! Ideally I want to be able to open the garage door, hitch on, drive off. (and more inmportantly, when we get back put it away quickly.

Other reason for keeping it sub 5m is that the juice burners I have in the garage won't be too underpowered for it.......
