Quite a deep vee hull on the Avon 310, so the max 15hp may not be enough ponies. Just speaking from experience. The Avon 340 is the weapon of choice in the world of small RIBs, as they're rated to 25hp, but unfortunately outside the OP's size limit.
Modern motors as small as 15hp are available with power tilt.

On a 3.5m boat, tiller gives you more floor space, quicker response, and you don't have to worry about maintenance to the steering and remotes and console, but its a personal preference.

Just checked the Brig website and the RIB I mentioned earlier, rated to 25hp is actually 3.3m:

BRIG Rigid Inflatable Boats ? F330

They also make a 3.00m version, rated to 20hp, which may do the job.

Yeah, i picked up their brochure today. Couldnt help thinking id missed something though as they seem so much cheaper than a new walker bay for example.

This one might be for sale soon..... Ok it's a bit big....

But you could rename it 'Special K'

Kathy, Natalie 123 has got a nice little set up on here. Maybe something similar would suffice.

Decision made:
I would like either a Walker Bay Genesis 3.4 or AB Nautilus 11.
If anyone sees either for sale within 20 miles of Chichester, please let me know. Thanks

Such a shame about your limitations regarding rib size, Tohatsu bought out a 4.2m rib that is only £2199 new and then you buy the consoles separately, anyway I'll stop harping on about bigger ribs now
