Sea going RIB Wanted please

Hello, I am new to this forum but am looking for a good 'sea boat' around 5.8 to 6.3 metres with a new generation 2 stroke or a 4 stroke. NO OLD 2 STROKES PLEASE. I need to build miles to renew my commercial permit so will be cruising the south coast and crossing the channel whenever possible. I am thinking a destroyer, Ribcraft, Ribtec etc etc. A used boat please with a trailer budget around the 6500 mark a bit more for the right boat.
It will need to be ready to go to work.

I appreciate any info or advice you may have as although I have covered many miles at sea, I have never owned a RIB!!!!

thank you

Welcome to Ribnet
I think you need to increase your budget. You're unlikely to find anything with a new tech engine for that money unless it's a real shed.

You'll need to at least double your budget to get a decent boat of that size with a newish engine.

I have seen a 5.85 ribcraft for sale on here with an opti for about 8000 and i just missed out on martins (alderney marine) 6.3metre ocean with a 90horse honda so I know decent deals are out there, i can't double my budget but can probably stretch a bit.

appreciate the early input

This is still for sale as far as I know, could be room for negotiation although it's an carb'd 2 smoker
