Ribcraft 4.8 or similar wanted 6k.

We are looking for a Ribcraft 4.8 with anything from 40hp plus on the back.

Must be on a good trailer and the engine needs PTT.

Needs to be in good condition with tubes 100%.

We will also consider other makes such as a searider SR4 or 4.7 providing they come with minimum of 2 seats, which must be jockey layout.

Boat will be used in coastal waters at all times of the year and be able to take a pounding, hence why ribcraft is first choice.

Budget is up to 6k but could push slightly for the right boat.

If you have anything or hear of anything matching this we would be really very grateful if you could let us know.

Nothing over 4.8 though due to garage.

Will consider all ages of seariders but must be in very good condition and ready to go.

Thats a massive journey for us i'm sorry to say. we did see it but its really just that bit too far. We are happy to travel a few hours but that one is out of reach. We bloody missed one for sale in Portsmouth by two days.

In which case you have the same plan as us, we already have a boat and will make do until as you say, the right one turns up. They seem to be very hard to get hold of, unless you've got nearer 9k, which unless i win the lotto, i dont.

I noticed yesterday that Trouts boatyard in Topsham have a 4.8m Ribcraft for sale £6,750 I think, if that helps? Just checked and it's on their website also.

Hi Hamish, yep i found that one last night too. I've emailed but they are shut today. It appears to only have one jockey seat.

Any ideas anyone how much it would be to get another added, as one seat is no good at all?

Hi,

Probably too small for you but I have a Ceasar T400 (4.2m) with 50hp Honda PTT that will be up for sale soon for around £4500.00 if its of any interest. I think from memory the boat & engine are 2005-2006. Not mint condition but perfectly serviceable as it stands.
