Rib wanted 6.5-8m

I am looking for a Rib in the 6.5m-8m size range. I am fairly flexible with make etc but the rib has to be capable of 20 mile passages between the channel islands.

Ideal boat would be a 7.5m Scorpion with 225hp engine.

Budget is approx 25k so would be looking at a boat from about 2003 to present with low engine hours.

Please contact me if you have or know of any boats available fitting this criteria.

Tony who is a regular at Ribnet has been really helpful pointing out various boats for sale and giving me information about said boats, the only problem is when i get to them they have been sold.

We are sort of looking at the moment for almost the same!! if i hear of anything will let you know. That said, if our old one comes up for sale i want it first!!! Selling that boat was the biggest mistake of my boating life!

I know you have been talking with Stewart about a couple that have sold!

The trail seems to be getting cold. There appears to be fewer and fewer boats available with very few new ones coming on the market. Here is hoping something comes up.

Zippy, what is the chance of yours coming back on to the market?

It is now a waiting game.

I think maybe an advert in the press, or maybe a few cheeky offers on more expensive ribs? may be worth a shot?

I think if you do a search on here, Rings have a pretty good reputation. The fuel tank seems very small for an engine that size?
