Ideally around 6m - £5000-£7000

Hi all, I will be looking to purchase annother rib in the coming months. I would like something around 6m with a newish engine (4stroke or a good 2stroke), and if possible some electronics such as a VHF. The rib must be in allround good condition as it is going to be purchased with money I was left by my dad.

Cheers

Cammy

Check out boats and outboards to see what you can get in that budget range for that size, some examples:

A 'newish' motor man enough to shove a 6m rib along, alone is going to soak-up most of your budget.

no worries, but see them more as possibilities. Personally, I think Mollers hit the nail on the head. It's going to be tough to fulfill all you requirements

Cam That avon of Martins looks quite sweet I'll give it the once over if you want.

May I ask if there is a specific reason why you want a 6metre plus apsrt from the expense of buying a bigger engine they are a lot more costly to fuel than a 5 - 5.5 metre.

I note in another post that you werre looking at an SR6 these are fantastic craft, so they are so strobgly built are very heavy therefore the fuel burn is nasty.

You can get quite a few buddies on a 5.4 and not be too depresed over the Fuel Bill and No you can't buy mine!

It's really only because at my local club the biggest rib is 5.5m so I fancy something bigger - I've already got the fastest but I'm getting bored of speed.
