Just reading your elegiac thoughts there....chin up PRVWL, it's hardwired into folks nature to be picky -some to a greater extent than others....people and chimpanzees need to nit-pick to rationalise sometimes, supposed to aid decision making and raise standards (if not legalities and price benchmarking hahaha). Humanity is always going to be this way. Then, of course, there ARE the true, derelict souled nit-pickers out there...the irredeemable ones, the chronically discontented. Harsh/negative criticism we can all do without, mind you.

Q1. is nit-picking about nit-picking (meta) nit-picking?
Q2. Is there a difference between complaining and nit-picking? No, there is only 'and'.

Hope all forumites looking forward to a rash of sunshiney, high pressure, azores type fandanglement over the upcoming Bank Holiday? I've a date with a powerwasher, some square meterage of paving stones and maybe even an auld rake.
All Hail Tarmacadam.

Good weekenders to all y'all.

John, what application is this rib for / what seating layout are you after?

I know of a cheap 5.8 humber with a 4 stroke but it's single console dive/ safety boat setup. The tubes are tired (although I would add perfectly serviceable, I've been out in this boat) so really that's the only reason it's cheap but I wonder if your budget might stretch to a set of new tubes and you'd have a really nice setup.

Boat is in kent. I'll try and find a snap.
