That has to be up there amongst the ugliest boats in the world
Also jet drive isn't everyone's cup of tea with lacklustre performance compared to a drive and none to easy close quarters manouvering
You would be unique in the marina though and taking the ground would be fine

Is that thing still doing the rounds? It's been for sale for yonks, it's definitely "niche"

Hi

I use , sell and source a lot of redbays and never been on a bad one. Until last year they would have also been my number 1 rib make by some way and there are pics of some that I have sourced / sold on my FB page.

My tip. take your time. they do come up and they take a bit of time to get the price right but you will love it. at 50k I would want an 8.4 not 7.4 and a 250+ engine. even better with yanmar ( dont get the petrol version!) inboard. If the boat is in Scotland or Ireland it will come witha good service history as most take theirs over to be checked so even a comercial used one would be well looked after.

deals can be done on these but check the leins on the boat if from ireland and do get the paperwork sorted. if you need help just pm me.

Dave

Another vote for Redbay. I bought a well used 7.4 with diesel inboard (Yamaha) a couple of years ago. Spent a few months doing a full refit, took all the seating and console off and added a cabin console. The result is a very rugged, dry, solid boat that two can weekend away in, or for day trips it provides a huge space for "stuff" and a portable camping loo. Lurcher on here had a large inboard Humber for some years. He traded it in for one of those sport fisher things when grand kids came along, he hated it and has since sold it and gone back to a proper boat with tubes. Stick with a decent RIB - Redbay all the way!
