6m twin outboard rib

Hi, I'm looking to find a 6m rib with internal fuel tanks, twin outboards 90hp and up, double width console, 4 jockeys , 'A' frame or self righting frame to mount a radar to and reasonable overall condition. Trailer would be nice but not essential. Budget of 15k.

It may be we have different views of "reasonable overall condition" but what you are seeking there is a rare combo and might be tricky to find at that budget in a condition where the twins still brings reliability benefits. I do recall one or two that loosely fit the bill over the years at the budget.

The closest that comes to mind on ribnet at the moment is Pikey daves, but it's not an exact match, is reputedly in tip top condition and he's from Yorkshire so you'll need to find more money (with good reason).

I know of a Vipermax 6.5 meter with a 3 year old Merc 150 F/S attached (the new one). Engine still has 2 years of warranty and I think they are looking for around 18k. Its a lot of boat for the money.

Thanks Poly, agreed the spec is very optimistic given the budget and I may have to amend it down the line. Pikey Dave's boat is fantastic and is certainly something to aspire to but I'm not sure I could raise the extra cash to make a sensible offer.

just put a 6mt zodiac in the for sale,only single engine but does have A frame for self righting,so you could fit radar no probs well below your budget if you fancy converting it to suit

Thanks Chris, I did spot the Vipermax in the for sale section. Lovely boat too, and I'm confident I could sell the idea to the wife as she recoils in horror when I show her pictures of the Arctics & Deltas that I like😀
