6m+ Rib wanted

I'm looking for a 6m plus Rib along the lines of a Pacific 22 or Humber Ocean Pro.

The important points are as follows:

1. Must be in excellent sea worthy condition
2. Inboard Diesel engine
3. Good solid trailer

If you've got one for me, get in touch!

Cheers

Simon

Thanks

Thanks to everyone for the replies, well impressed at the response!

C2 RIBS, I did bid on the Pacific you put the link for, however, I took my kids swimming and missed the last 30 mins or so, but to answer your question, yes, thats just the thing i'm after!, if only it were a little closer to Edinburgh (within 5 hr drive) then I'd have gone and had a look....

Tonka - 7.7m, twin Diesels...sounds good, but my budget probably won't stretch that far!!

I never mentioned it but I'm new to this and therefore have set a max budget of up to £15k for the right boat.

The search continues.....

Simon, that rib on ebay did not sell and you can still e mail the seller , you might get a good deal doing it that way before it is re-advertised.click on my above e bay link and then follow down to contact the seller. You could ask someone on ribnet who is close to Yeovil to inspect it first worth a try Ian

Absolutely no idea what kind of shape she's in - but she's only four hours from Edinburgh!

I'll be there next week, can have a look.

My boat is up for sale, its not a diesel but I'm sure we can come to a compromise on price.

Its a Ribtec 585 (6m LOA) with a new engine complete with actually 4 years warranty (not what the B+O Ad says - Doh!) and a new trailer. Its nice and easy to tow with a mid sized car and very comfortable family cruiser.

It seats three adults but can fit four if you're friendly. Loads of deck space, big a frame, towing eyes in the transom for ringo etc.

Its on boats and outboards at the moment here: http://www.boatsandoutboards.com/view/F195817

Its in very good condition through out and the mechanic who just did the service even commented on it!!

Can deliver if needs be but we may need to negotiate this in the price if you're in Scotland!!

Drop me an email or PM if your interested.

Chris

I've got a Pacific 22 for sale, recent service and new parts, electrics refit, all safety equipment, lifejackets etc as was going to code it but ran out of time and money!! Trailer in good condition, new trailer lights and will service for you if you buy. Call me on 07976 363 479 if you want to chat. I think there is a Parker floating about somewhere (possible a previous boat of Andre's on here) that struck me as potentially a fair price if the engine and leg are in good order...

...I'll see if I can remember where I saw the add.

...Ah found it quicker than I expected - http://hamble.boatshed.com/parker_630-boat-54612.html fairly sure it has been on for a while and reduced in price. I have no connection to it.

yes that is my first demo rib. the owner was using it in Scotland and came back last year for another Parker rib and he now has a Parker 750RS with Cummins QSD 4.2 350HP

the engine was replaced later as there was a warranty issue
