From the information I got the vipermax is a little more fitted for "speed" while ribcraft is more "confortable cruiser". Second good reason Osprey is more expensive ?

Not in the 5.8m length.

Spent the best part of today repairing a Lycramax
Though I've had my share of Slumbers in the shop over the years

I'd be building my own by now if anyone could afford them
Plus I can't think of a good name for them....
