4m searider (or similar)

Anyone got/know of a 4m Searider or similar for sale before the start of the next "season"?

Basically I'm after 1 that isn't too new (read that as I want one cheap ), can shift a bit but isn't TOO crazy (don't want to wreck my first boat now do I). Not fussed if it's got those bloody 'orrible seats that older 4m Seariders all seem to come with, as they'll be ripped out anyway and replaced with a DIY jockey seat and console (gives me something to work on over winter).

Time frame for purchase is within the next few months, so not exactly immediate, but I may as well start looking now. Sent a few emails off to people advertising on Boats and Outboards but not had any replies so far. So if anyone has one or knows of one that'll be for sale, I'd appreciate any info!

Cheers,
Matt

It's like waiting for a bus this, no sign of any for a while, then 3 come along at once!

Sounds like a nice one that, it's the most powerful of the 3 I've been told about so far. If they're willing to move on the price then that's quite an attractive one, though it's not exactly near by!

Cheers,
Matt

Narked

I've got a Zodiac Yacht line that I reckon would be fabulous with a centre console & jockey, leaving a nice bench seat for your mates at the back on calmer days.

It's similar spec to the one MeMe has advertised, but it has a Johnson 70hp 2 str and is seriously over 30 kts..

If you're interested, drop me a PM.

Jon

rib wanted.

I don't know if it is of any interest / use to you, but I have a nice 4 mtr searider on a nice trailer, without an engine. The boat and trailer are in excellent condition. As it happens, the boat is a T.V star, it was the actual Rescue Boat in Harbour Lights. I am not looking for a fortune for it, but I thought as you are going to be altering whatever you get, this one might be of interest to you.

If you would like to know more, give me a shout. I am in Poole, Dorset, also some of the finest diving in the area can be had here if you didn't know it already.

Regards

Ade. (Bigman)

Re: Avon 4m SR wanted

I may well be selling mine. It almost perfectly fits your description - back to back old seats, front spray cover and windscreen, old and cheap etc. It has a Yamaha 40 which had a major service and overhaul with all new remote cables etc last spring. It's on a new roller trailer, but I may decide to keep the trailer - it depends on what RIB I end up getting (a friend locally is selling one which would go on my trailer) Reason for sale is that with three growing children I really need something bigger, but it's a fantastic boat.
You can contact me on 01752 830420.
Regards,
Martyn West.
