to be honest, that's what I was thinking, £20k for that size rib should open the door to some real nice new builds that would give the opportunity to add some great personal touches, rather than an off the shelf rib or a 2nd hand rib that needs loads doing to get it right

Yes you are right, you'll be surprised what £20k can build and there are so many different ways you can do it

Hi sTTu,

I know that you're looking for a boat around 3 years old so mine obviously won't qualify being a 2008 one but just in case you're interested I've a Valiant Vanguard V490 with a 60HP Mercury EFI fitted. It's got a bench seat which is in need of a little TLC but the reat of the Rib is in excellent condition.

I've used it only in freshwater on Windermere mostly as a tender. (I have done 10mph faster than anyone else on occasion though!! :-) )

It comes complete with road trailer.

No worries if you're not interested, I just thought I'd suggest it.

Putting my 5.2m Zodiac on the market v soon. 2007 boat but had a new Yam F70
fitted in October along with hydraulic steering (cost £9k). Engine has less than 5hrs so far and has got nearly 5 years Yam warranty still to run. Comes with roller coaster trailer, radio, GPS, Outhill Jockeys, Cover etc. (I've got the chance of a bigger RiB that's too good to pass up). To make the deal for the bigger boat I'm looking for
£14.5k though otherwise I'm just going to keep it! Can send some pics and full spec if you're interested, otherwise happy hunting!

our zodiac pro 7 (420) is for sale. hull is 2008, but full refurbished inc engine, console and tubes tailer etc in 2011. stored inside so in v good condition. aframe fitted and sitting on a very good road trailer. will be way under your budget, drop me a pm if interested. based in Plymouth.
