Thanks TomKat but it's not quite what I'm looking for, but thanks again for posting.

I'm pretty open but I've seen a couple of Ribcraft 4.8's, a Humber Attaque and a Valiant DR490. None are exactly what I'm looking for but I quite like the Ribcraft's so I may go for one of them.

The Ribcraft 4.8m's are supposed to be a bit special!

Good luck!

Thanks for that, I've sent him an email. I have an uncle who lives in Belfast so if I get a reply I may ask him to look into it for me.

Cheers. :-)

Unfortunately the chap from Belfast with the Ribcraft 4.8 never replied.

I've now found a zodiac pro 9 man with a 50hp 4 stroke outboard. It's a 2005 model and it comes with a trailer and a custom all over boat cover. I plan to drive down and pick it up on Tuesday and providing everything is as it should be it should be joining us on the Anglesey trip.

Any thoughts, is this a decent boat? It'll be used as a "support" boat on holiday in Spain to the Humber which will be used for towing skiers, wakeboarders, inflatables etc. The open front means we can fit more kids on and my Mum and Dad can sit on the bench seat as they potter along watching the grandkids being dragged through the water by the Humber. :-)

Looks a nice package, whereabouts is it?

Just make sure that they start it whilst your there and ensure that water comes from the tell tale. Hondas are good and being four stroke will be fuel efficient, ideal support boat

One of the features of this boat are that you can remove the tube from the hull for storage.

Best of luck

It's down in Harwich so I'm going to drive down Monday night, stay in the local Travelodge and collect it first thing Tuesday morning, and yes I can't wait to get it out on the Menai Straits. :-)

I'll certainly be asking him to show the engine running, same as you did for me. :-)
