115hp outboard wanted with PX

My friend has a 2006 50hp 4 stroke mercury outboard with full controls which he has on a 7m rib but it's not giving him the power he wants.

He wants to upgrade to 115hp and has upto a 1000£ Plus Px of old engine

Let me know if you have anything!

I currently have 115Hp on a 6m rib and would advise a minimum of 150HP on a 7m rib

Rib is rated to 120hp max it might be a bit smaller my friend said approx 7m.

A 7 meter RIB with a 120 HP max? which type is that? A RIB of 7 meter should be in the range of 115 to 250 HP...
Answer to the question. I think for a 1000 pounds extra u get only a (very) old 115 HP motor. Just wait a bit longer for saving money for a newer outboard..

Okay it's a rib tech, I'm just going on his information he provided me so will need to speak to him to make sure it's accurate!
