Or there is only one type of seating in front of the console ?

What is the real weight 650 Pro Open with engine 150 HP (let's say 200 kg weight) including petrol, batteries, anchors. What GVW trailer needs to have (with reasonable margin) to carry this boat ?
mine's on a 1.5 tonne trailer which is more than enough, i think a 150hp plus rib plus bits is about 650kg-700kg? Good choice by the way - great ribs. Not sure they came with jockey seats but easy enough to change if you wanted to. I personally like the stand up seats they come with, very comfortable and has storage in it as well as under it.

They stated 2007 lbs dry weight - 910 kg. So with petrol an all items it be 1100 kg.

2017 Zodiac Pro Open 650 NEO 150hp On Order Power Boat For

Mine 5,4 ALU RIB with Evinrude 115 (almost 200kg) and petrol was checked by police and full setup weigh was 1200 kg (boat+trailer). So my boat is about 900 kg.

Nice boat but 1500 GVW is max for my car (and we are 5 people and many stuff on vacation) so maybe in future.

I like this green setup (color and equipment)

50 k USD in US or 50 k EUR in EU. Maybe after divorce

You have really nice looking trailers in US.

Mat,
The net weights as published by Zodiac and Yamaha are - boat 670kg - Yamaha 150hp 194kg. Total = 864 kg. Add to this, petrol (tank capacity 120 litres @ 0.77 kg/l), plus equipment and there you have it. So a rough figure of 1000 kgs all up should be about right.

And good trailer with ramp, spare wheel be about 400 kg so GVW (of the trailer) 1500 kg seems reasonable to me with some margin. But boat mentioned by me on picture has hard T-top. I'm sure that it be 70-100 kg more.

Looking at defender website the difference between 550 PRO open and 650 in USD is about 10 000 USD (compare PRO OPEN 550 with 115 HP and PRO OPEN 650 set with 150 HP). So 30 % more for boat 20% bigger and engine 50% more powerful.

If I live near Sea cost will buy 650.
I go each time for long distances so will stay by 5,4-5,5m

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Sorry I made typo mistake - it have to be "gray setup" not "green"
The question is if weigh mentioned by Zodiac is with all seats or without ?

The Pro Open has a layout molded in to the deck. It is only available with the one seating configuration.

The Pro has no fixtures, and can be laid out in any fashion.

The Pro Open is fairly well optimized for rough weather and comfortable seating. There's also a sun deck available for the bow.

The US built 650 Open is around 1600 lbs for the hull . Weight with 150hp Yamaha is gonna be 2100 lbs plus battery(35lbs.) plus fuel at roughly 325lbs.
When I worked at Defender we packaged them with 3300 lb. capacity trailers and had no issue allowing for extra gear.

Pro 750? US market were domestic produced for a while. UK market would be French/Tunisian.

So our calculations were right. 1500 kg (3300 lb) for the trailer.

On your Avatar/picture - is it PRO Open 550 with hard top ?
How do you find it for rough weather ?

I have been never risk wit family on board but sometimes you can be catch in bad conditions.

@Office888 you have mentioned in your post that "hulls made in us". Are they any differences in hull construction methodology in US and EU - like infusion or any other ? Or the quality and construction have to be the same ?
