Zodiac Cherokee 480 vs Valiant DR 490
Can anybody give me some advice on how the DR 490 might differ from the Cherokee? I have a Cherokee now and I quite like it, but I am looking for something a bit more performance-oriented. I spend a lot of time in rather rough water, and I find the Cherokee a little dicey in bigger swells and chop. I especially don't like it's tendency to bow-lift when running into a headwind.
Is the DR 490 a better boat?
How do the two hull designs compare?
Any advice would be most appreciated
