You've been Tango'd

Just a couple of shots because we bumped into 'Waterside Mat' whilst working out of Cardigan (& Newport Pembs) today.....Mat was out for a play with his cracking 5.3 Humber /Opti 115 'Tango'.....

A decent chop outside the shelter of the bays made for some air (no arseing about pics i'm afraid....was 'working' / had science officer with us)....but managed to grab a couple of shots of her as we headed out of Newport....

Fab boat Mat...a real flying machine

Nice rib Mat, what top speed do you get out of the humber with the 115. We used to have a 5.4 SR with 90 and that flew, but ended up chinewalking. Curious as to what you get out of the Humber as we have the 6.3 OP with 175 now.

Hey Gossy

....good news is that a well known /recorded pod of Bottlenose are regulalrly now making their way further South (than usual) and feeding outside Goodwick breakwater then making their way back north during the course of the day passing close to Ceibwr....keep your eyes peeled, the mother with Calf is 'Top Notch', a really inquisitive female and super playful calf....(obviously all whilst adhering to the Pembs Marine Code ).....theres a short vid of them from this week on our Facebook Group Page....

Might be seeing a fair bit of Newport ourselves this August / if we can get a few things sorted in time....i have a secret...and am hatching a plan....watch this space

I see you have got some pics of Monty Halls, I really enjoyed his Outer Hebridean experience series and he seems to be a genuine and nice sort of chap. He must have been great to work with.

Top bloke....as were his friends.....Stu Keasley, underwater cameraman from the beautiful BBC Secret Seas series (Bottlefish for any of you fellow YDers) sent us some great stills for us to use /has stayed in touch.....similarly Dan Stevenson (cameraman Deep wreck mysteries) sent us a great video for us to use on the website.....and Monty offered to come back and lead some dives for us to promote what we were doing.....Fab bunch!

PS can't remember when, off the top of my head, but Montys Irish escspe has just been given its 'slot' in the scheduling (BBC2).....have seen some stills from it, should be good!
