Sorry to hear that.

I hope your insurance company let you get a complete retube and not patch it with out a huge fight......and its done quickly!

Please let us know who your insured with and how they respond for you.

Thanks all

Hey thanks every-one for all the kind words, all the e mails, messages, & kind offers of a places in your ribs, your all great guys, & good freinds. I really apprieciate all the support I have received.

May be this damage is a bit of a blessing in disguise, as I thought that it would be a good time to refurb 'n' refit now whist she's out of the water for a while, & fit all the goodies that Ive been dreamin about for so long (if the bank manager allows of course).

I am lucky enough to own another older & smaller rib, that I still use from time to time for messing about, perhaps this will become my main vessel this summer or untill the insurance squabbles are over, so, you see I can still come ribbing, (no stopping me now). No little s*it with a knife will ruin my hobby this year.

I will of course let you know the out-come, & keep you informed etc, about what happens.

If the Ol' Bill catch up with him I will post his address on here. & I will arrange a bon fire party on his head, to which you are all invited.....

Thanks again, Steve.

Steve like the rest of us I am sorry for this grief and agree that if caught the punisment won't be in keeping with the crime. I have recently been through an Insurance claim which the loss adjustor found a loophole and threw out the claim. I am fighting it with the help of a claim company. My Broker was very conspicuous by his absence during the process. The bottom line is if they can find any reason for bouncing the claim they will.

I have engaged a claims adjutster to fight my side of the case and so far have been very impressed by his tenacity, erudition and attitude. His company is called Insco and his name is Gary Lane. I have no hesitation in recommending him and suggest you contact him to see if he can asist you at the front end of your claim.
