xs-550

Hi SWGinn,
Laurence emailed today to say my XS-550 was ready. So just the bare boat, as fitting my own Suzuki DF90 (but did upgrade by getting the built in fuel tank and hydraulic steering.).
Was nicely surprised to see the open space behind the seats(not quite as good as your 600) but still respectable.
Looking forward to getting her picked up and fitted out.
Looks bright with all that orange, but really like the look of it.!
cheers Dal

Dal,

WOW!! She she's a beaut. The contrasting orange and black really work well. The Black Suzy will look sweet on the transom too!! Well worth the upgrade getting the built in tank and the hydraulic steering makes all the difference for those tight turns!! Under deck loom will tidy the deck up no end and makes the boat looks so much better without having cables everywhere.

You should really notice the high lift hull first time you take her out. It will plane nice and high above the waterline and you just won't get wet in the bloody thing!! My new wetgear hasn't been used yet this season!!

Laurence really is selling a lot of them, there was another one in Baltimore, Cork last weekend. There was me thinking I had the first one in Ireland!!
Can't wait to see her all rigged up and ready to go.

Going to the Fastnet Lighthouse this weekend so should get some nice action shots, hopefully it'll be rougher than the last time I was there
