Hi Guys

Its been a while since I've posted over here - and I hope I'm still allowed!! - I've been lurking!!

As most of you may know we have now sold Panther and downgraded to a Honda Marine 2.7m Inflatable with Honda 5hp outboard - and needed somewhere to keep it!

Anyway, I've put a web site together for our new inflatables home - Jasper. On it I've created some pages for :-

General Info
FAQ's
Cruising Notes
Gallery

and the best bit - "Ships Blog" - so you can read about all the trips we've done so far!!!

If anyone would like me to set a Blog so that they can post their rib outings then please fill in teh membership form and I'll set it up - its all FREE!!

You can access the site at

www.shipsblog.co.uk

Please let me know what you think!!

Cheers
Jools

Thanks Louise!!

We've now started really exploring the Bristol Channel - something we never really did in our Rib - we did a couple of trips out from Portishead, but not that many!!

There are a few ribs that are permenantly bearthed in the Marina, mainly Ribcraft - Portisheads own lifeboat is also a Ribcraft.

Quite a lot to explore - Severn Bridges, Newport, Cardiff etc - but it is very tidal, so you have to plan your trip!!

So if anyone is down in the area - give us a shout!!

Jools

I'll keep checking back to see what you've been up to then! If you ever miss RIBbing, just come down to the Solent and we'd love to take you out.

Followed your link on YBW today and thought I know that mug shot. What's he doing on a fancy boat!

Regards

Mark

Mark, any truth in the rumour that you are going the way of Jools and getting a nice comfy cabin cruiser once you've sold your rib?

Ah, another lurker!! - So how are things going in New Foundland - Found a boat yet?

It's deffinately different to the rib!
I miss being able just to tow it round to a new piece of water to explore - but when the weather turns bad its nice to be able to come down from the flybrisge and helm inside

Our plans for the end of this month is to head from Portishead over towards Swansea and Milford Haven. If the weathers good maybe even over to Ireland. - It will all be in Jaspers Blog!!

Cheers
Jools
