WOT only 4800 RPM

Can anyone advise, I have a Ribtec 655, with a Yamaha 150 HPDI, pushing 44 MPH at 4800 WOT, can anyone advise as to my Rev limit, I don't feel that this is to much of a problem if she is pushing that performance but only that REV's

Thank you..

Prop size/pitch? Any bottom fouling? Trailered or marina berth?

It's a problem as your motor is labouring. It's not good for it.

Depends on the model year, its currently 4500 to 6000 for the 150 hdpi 2014 models.

But I'd say most people aim for somewhere around 5800 WOT empty and 5400 WOT fully laden with people and fuel.

First run out on the boat today, just purchased and had FULL service from Yamaha dealer before taking out to sea, 2004 model, clean bottom (just polished) kept on trailer, full tank of petrol and only two on board.

:-(

Don't attempt this-it's a stupid thing to do that does no good and potentially can harm your motor.
