worth buying for the boat?

anyone have any views about this tool kit from Lidl?

Hi Lewy!

Couldn't get your link to work, but as an emergency cheap set it would be better than nothing. I would probably cover all of the tools in an oil soaked cloth - that way at the end of the season they would still be of some use!

What happened to you at the poker run - I thought you were coming?

What happened to you at the poker run - I thought you were coming?

Hi Cookee,

i had to work this weekend, 1st day of our sale..............but out tomorrow
was that the new evinrude you had strapped to the back of your race boat?
shame you had problems with it, how do you think it'll compare to the Verado?

No it was a Mercury 2.5 EFI - 280 horsepower - it's a race engine really, premix oil and you have to look after them! The cowling was a fibreglass one that I'm having painted to blend in a bit better!

For the record the Verado was amazing, and they have upgraded them recently - the new motors will be out later this year and will have different graphics - depending on the model they will have much better fuel consumption - in some cases well over 20% better!
