mollers has one on his rib but it is slightly larger, but does not get used much!!!! full of moths i hear!!

Spot on - I have read a few accident reports where ribs have capsized in the surf and the A frame has stopped the boat crushing the occupants!!!

Main reason I am having one though is cos the boat would look stupid without it!!!

Will also come in handy for mounting the 2 liferafts!!!

In fact, other than the cost of the thing. Can anyone think of a reason for not having an A frame?

it is important to get as much height as possible for th lights and antenna and radar reflector. Especially if you intend going where the ships are!

if you don't like an Aframe you could put twin poles on the back to mount the stuff but an Aframe is kinda handy.

A company called Fusion makes superb a frames and other stainless stuff and I imagine you'd buy one of theres and see a lot of change out of 1281.
