Techno 40

[QUOTE=swginn]I'm really gutted now, that I know what what an FB techno is!!. Eraser 2 was in Crosshaven (2mins drive from me) & Baltimore over the weekend (along with Cyanide) and I missed them!!! Not often you see something like that around these parts![/QUOTE

Met Brian in Kinsale last Saturday (Cyanide) and Mike and Di (Magellan Alpha). Unfortunately the Techno 40 did not turn up and I was hoping to blag a ride. They should be back in Kinsale or Crosshaven on Friday. They had a good crossing from Lands End in calm seas

Pics are in Kinsale

I think FB RIB 55 makes faster speed with 4x800 hp Seateks than Techno 40. Top speed for 55 footer is something near 85-90 knots. I'd remember 40 footer is "slower".

As far as I can remeber, they got this one up to 85 Knots (close to but not quite 100mph). Must be the fastest RIB monohull with outboards.

Did around the Isle of ?Wight? in 48 minutes, averaging 75Knots.
