There is an old thread kicking about somewhere which discussed a Pac with Jet which had been converted with IIRC poor results........worth a search.

Our Pac 24 has a Jet..... But is a much bigger /different boat all round so not a good comparison.

Actually I was on low sulphur fuel last year East of the 5 degree line an' all that!
You're right I wasn't out much at all, mores the pity, weather/time etc.

Rogue Wave and I had a drive of one a few years back. There was a selection of levers some of which did things and others didn't, shame there weren't any labels on them to say what they should have done. It was brilliant laugh because we spent most of the time going sideways. However, I simply refused to take it out of the river Itchen into Southampton water.

It was a real professional conversion. You could see were the body filler had been plastered on to change the hull shape to suit the jet. Sadly they didn't smooth it off before it set.
