What's wrong with Zodiac? Mine is 17 years old and is in excellent shape.
Jimmy_Beam, the Zodiac Hurricane's are a different story. You see a lot of those lasting 15-20 years. It's the recreational versions that don't last long.

A bunch of trashed Searider 5.4s and one 6.0 in Maryland. You could pick any of them up for a song, I'm sure. Looks like most of them might need retubes. They're all described as foam filled, but who knows... They might clean up nicely...

Maverick, the Ribcraft Mitigator, is back in the water and ready to take you for a spin. With the wind we've been having, it should be a fun ride.

Exactly, you get what you pay for. If you're looking for a quick buy, go for it. But if you want something that will last you're better off choosing more on the higher end of quality and longevity.

The higher the quality, the longer the value will last. You spend more initially, but could get more of it back years down the road when you sell, hopefully to a larger RIB!!

They are half the price because the French use a cheaper tube material then Hypalon. It is interesting that Zodiac only uses Hypalon as standard on their Hurricane line - none of the the other lines (the recreational boats) get it though I did see an ad saying you could "upgrade" to Hypalon on the Pro Open.
