Well spotted

I can't think its a typo as these figures must be automatically produced
But it is strange as it does happen at a wind change in direction and speed, but not that much as to produce that wave height

Probably just a sticky sensor, or electrical noise between the sensor and the data logger.

And then.......the sun comes out, the wind dies and we get 2 cracking days on the water - rain and grey skies of last weekend nearly forgotten.

Thursday sunny and flattish - ran Dartmouth-Torquay seeing dolphins off St Mary's Bay, spot of ringo-ing then a blast down to Beesands to catch up with Nasher.

Yesterday ventured round Start Point to Salcombe, although it was a bit lumpy on the way back, and picked up a dozen mackerel in 15 mins as well once back in Start Bay

Thorness Bay IofW Tide up and a southerly ideal time to visit as offshore wind keeps the bay calm.

Excellent, going to try that one, looks lovely and not too far from Solent launch spots.

Watch the tide goes right out at that spot. It exposes a large rocky ledge unseen at high tide. It does catch a few unawares by dinging the prop. Perhaps a good idea to see what it all looks like when the tide is out, gives you some idea what to expect.Click image for larger version
