Where to ski in the solent?

Was wondering if anyone know of a list of designated areas where you can ski in the solent? I know of the area to the east of Cowes between Osborne bay and Fishbourne. I’m particularly interested in any areas in the western solent that would be sheltered in an easterly.
Any help much appreciated….
Cheers
Simon

ealing has a ski area right up snotty water but it looks dodgy as hell to me(see it low tide by road), more wrecks and sharp pointy things to fall on than mud! oh yeah then theres the distinct water colour and flavour up there!

you could always head west a few miles and use the ski areas in Poole harbour-they are sheltered in pretty much anything.

Lots of people go off yarmouth common including me. Get out early in the morning before the sea breeze kicks in and its lush.

Roy,

I thnink you need to belong to the Langstone water Ski Club to enjoy that.

I don't know how hard that is enforced tho.

Langstone Harbour Authority are pretty lax and don't seem to want confrontation so you might get away with it.
