SR5.4 doesn't fit in the garage does it? And would probably need 70 horses.

There's gonna need to be a compromise somewhere!

I have a very beamy 5.5m & fishing with 4 can get exciting especially if you get 2 or 3 of you "fish on" at the same time.

Who mentioned garages?

I assume the horse power is governed by budget rather than equinophobia.

At that budget, my main concern for you is to NOT buy a fixer-upper. Buy a decent boat that you can enjoy now. You can always upgrade later.

Spent most of my boating career doing that..... lots of fun and sold them all for between one and a half and twice what they'd cost me. Self financing hobby
