The odd thing about that pic is that we were all togged up in full foul weather gear after bashing across 30 miles of open, biggish sea, whilst all those on Porthcurno were sporting Speedos or skimpy bikinis.

As a west coast of scotland ribber I am with Alystra and Bigmuz all the way so many hidden gems all along the coast with some very exciting cruising in between. I take nothing away from other beautiful parts of UK. Was on sound of jura sat & sun absolutely beaytiful only wets the appetitie,bring on summer!!

Penclawdd near Swansea which is famed for it's cockles it a massive area of salt marsh. It is a bit like the Camargue region of France with wild horses and is a haven for wildlife.

Well it turns out that they also tested Anthrax out on the Marshes - bombing tethered goats. I know it gets covered by the sea 2x a day but the spores can remain active for years in the ground. No mention was ever made of it nor any attempt to clean it up.

I always thought the locals were a bit strange.............
