Nah...

4.7m SR with a 12 seater 110 CSW 300Tdi (last great Landy engine and no electrickery engine management cr@p etc).

Now, that's a combo...

nice setup you've got there but don't be too quick to knock the newer motors, I've got a 08 90 County hardtop, no traction control or air con, but heated seats n windscreen, a heater wot works n a few "tweaks" including limited slip rear diff, it's a great motor n tows a dream

SR 4.7's long gone sadly but the 110 is family transport still.

I'll never be without a utility Landy. Had a fair few over the years, favourite for fun was a mint ex-MoD Irish Guards soft top 90 with the good old 2.5 NA - finally sold that last year after 10 years...

I do have both

..and yes, the 110 has a leak...which shows its not empty :-)

The Avon is still a usable work in progress. There is a 15hp on her at the moment as the 40 is a bit sick...but it was free as was the Avon

As far as comparisons between cars and boats go, an SR4 is to Caterham as Humber is to LandRover.

Just completed the Round Ireland Challenge in a SR 5.4 and would do it immediately again with the same boat !
Being in Ireland I learned a new english word about Seariders - fugly = f.. ugly
May be they are but the boat did a fantastic job in all sea conditions and especially the west coast was really rough .

Matt - I can't keep up with your boats but that's a beauty - since you sold the 4.7m to me a couple of years back what's been your boat 'history'? I thought you had the 4.8m Ribcraft made?

Under the console. Knees might get warm. But you could sink the sump into the floor a nat's. Fuel tank might be more of an issue. Might get a bit closer up the ladder to the Riva then ( Mollers :-) ).
