That's pretty impressive and makes it into a nice 2 + 2 (kids) family(ish) boat rather than the usual 'solo SR nutter-mobile'...

It does look nice.
I reckon his right foot is at a horrible angle when he's standing up though-there's no way on earth that he's got a flat floor on the outside of those pods.

The thing about refurbing Seariders is they can be cheap 'canvases' on which you can display your art.....

....we're back in Land Rover territory then!

The solo nutter bit appeals, I must say. The two seater original condition boat discovered on ebay by Max just doesn't do it for me. I'm 6'4 and 18 stone plus and I reckon after 10 minutes in one of those seats I'd either be ready for the osteopath or the thing would have sunk!

On the other hand, the centre console 'military' look and layout has a certain something going on and is very appealing....

First things first however; get a Vipermax hull this autumn (already been to see Mike - top guy) and put it together over the winter ready for an Easter launch party in the Menai Straits, champers in the Gazelle.

Maybe a Sea Rider restoration next autumn...

Every man needs a project.

Those old Delux SR's do have a certain appeal though, not quite up there with a Broom or Riva but a minor classic none the less. Would be a shame to convert it when there are so many centre console SR's available.

I'd put an SR infront of a Broom, but not in the same stratosphere as a Riva. Although, the Capricorn is now regarded as a classic.

There's a '64 Aquarama which appears down here from time to time. It has a pair of tuned 7.4ltr GMs. Prob worth around the 1m now.

That's fair enough, quite a distance between the Broom and an Aquarama I guess!

The real old Brooms' were nice though.

Hmmm that's looks tidy.. Them jockey seats look fairly wide too.. I'd be happy with two ullman's behind it and that's it..
