Think you only have 15 min to edit it, after that the mods will have to delete it.
How come he's not happy?

Very odd thing to request - you'd have thought he would have been pleased for the extra publicity

Suspect he won't want the financial background known. His asking is a fair start, considering his costs/time/poss warranty. Punter won't like it tho ;-)

Well, Bingomike wasn't forced to sell it - but the dealer made his offer, paid cash and invested (we're told) more money and time in it. He gets what he gets. Bingomike seemed content with his wad (he even knew the dealer's intended margin), the new customer could have paid Bingomike that amount if both parties had been a**ed fixin', advertising and looking.

Customers aren't happy unless they think they're screwed the dealer on a buy. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE my customers, but I know they hate to think of me making a profit off them (as they see it)

Mollers sometimes says exactly what he's thinking. But he quickly recovers and has a Tipex Moment. I think it's kinda sweet ;-)

Valid point, I wasnt forced to sell, I only sold as it wasnt big enough for me (and getting too much of an ear-full about the number of boats I own from 'her indoors! - still at 3 and counting LOL).

I am in business and have no problem in anyone making a profit (It is what i try to do every day!! LOL).

The Guy had a lot of up front expenses (470 mile return journey for start!, servicing, screen and seat bases) I could have spent the time and energy on it - both in short supply at the moment and possibly made more out of it - I made enough to cover the cost of my Osprey! to trade up (or according to the Searrider gang DOWN LOL)

As most know i was given it for free and donated a fair proportion of what I sold it for to the RNLI. I wish the seller all the best in making a profit - we all need to eat!!

Mike
