just a few more photos
Finally got around to starting to do something with my eagle!! It's spent the winter in a nice dry shed so thought it was about right to bring it out into the sun and start by giving the tubes a good clean...4hrs later and very achy arms and it has started to look a bit better.The engine started nicely with no bother but will need a good degrease and a proper run to dry it off.Floor needed a good scrub off and the leaves it had collected from shropshire in it's past life brushed out.Next job is to give the tubes another going over with rib-revive(which takes the skin off your hands without gloves!) and start cleaning down the hull.
Removed the gauges from the console...well there wasn't anything attached to them.. and anything else that seemed to have been dumped or tied to the hull by the previous owner...bits of rope,old flares and bits of hose and a large lump of wood about 2 inches thick that had been stuck to the transom with bathroom sealant!! not sure what that was for.
Theres still a few other things that can be taken off and put in the boat jumble box so will see how far things get this weekend..
