What would you buy?

I have just sold my Menai Marine 4.8m and I am in the market for a new or second hand rib, A new Menai Marine 5.5m with Suzuki 90 is looking favorite at the moment, as I never had any issues with old one and found it to be more than capable of handling the varying conditions the Irish Sea (off Anglesey) can throw at you.

So, after reading numerous posts on here I thought it might be worth asking for various comments regarding this, I want to make sure I am not overlooking another alternative that would be equal to or better than the Menai Marine (bearing in mind I use the boat off the west coast of Anglesey). May be more importantly which ones to steer clear of!!

Ideally it needs to be between 5.5m and 6m around 90/100hp decent console and jockey seating.

Any advice greatfully received.

Have a look at a Ribcraft 5.3 or 5.85. Been well pleased with my 5.3/Suzuki DF90

If you were happy with your Menai then I'd be tempted to buy another, better the devil you know and all that business.
