What to do with 135 BRP ficht?

I hope to be changing my engine in a few months time.

Currently I have an Evinrude (BRP) ficht on the back of my 6.5m ocean pro, which while is fine, only manages about 34knots, and I am not sure what to do with it when i take it off! it is good order, with about 600 hours on it.
I think I will go for a 175Hp Etec, No snidy comments about engine Choice either please I have looked at a 200Hp big block, but they are a little heavy for the transom, so the 175 would probably fit just nicely.....

Apart from the comments of "Bin it" "Scrap it" anybody got any useful suggestions on what to put it on?

I was thinking of something a little smaller than the 6.5M Ocean Pro, but obviously need it to be within the transom limits of what I were to put it on.

I was thinking of something a little easier to launch and recover, and would use it for coastal fishing and just having fun!

Tonto

If you're buying from a dealer, why not px it?

I had thought of that, but if it is worth keeping to put on something, say 5M or so, then why sell a good engine to later buy another with a boat.

If it aint worth keeping I may PX or sell it

Great choice of engine !! a 150 on the back of my old 6.5 meter Vipermax gave a healthy 44 knots with loads of hole shot.

I would list your 135hp on ebay, you will probably get between 2 and 3k for it. Take some video of it running and if possible list it whilst its still on the rib so you could potentially take someone out for a spin.
