Hi Graeme

Numbers on the engine - there the Lake Windermere Registration Scheme - a bit like number plate on a car. I attached the to elastic and slip them around the engine, rater than sticking them to the tubes.

She pushes 40knots with just me in and little gear & fuel on a very flat lake windermere. But consumption is great - iv been known to ski/knee board on Windermere all day and use 12 worth of fuel. I'm waiting to test hir on a long run at constant revs to see what i get then.

I bet you can't sleep at night... waiting for the new RIB..... a..

Regards

JOno

You are so right - I am waiting for a few final details from the place that is building her - and I feel like ringing them every few minutes to make sure se will be ready on time.

Picking her up Thursday, then taking her to Portsmouth on Friday for a test - all being well

I have a double console - not the standard Avon one with the grey 'eyes' on top - but a flat top one. This has steering / control on the left. It has a double seat in front of the console, and a cushion on the bow locker for calm sea seating.

Behind the console are 2 single jockey seats side by side, and 2 double jocket seats behind that. One of these has the battery etc in - the others are pure storage.

Ill get some pictures on here as soon as I can

I have a single bench at the back which is good for calm condition and not bad the rest of the time - i'm looking at putting foot straps in for exteme conditions.

The wheel console is off set to the right with 1 seat in front + locker underneath.

I also have a bow locker cusion which as a rule is where my dog keeps a look out for me (In calm conditions).

In my next RIB i would prefer twin jockey consoles.

Regards

Jono

Yes - the trailer is a brand new design - it is a wooden cradle - no wheels - very stable - saves you a fortune in fuel as you can't actually take it anywhere ............
