what is my boat worth?

Seriously considering a bigger boat but what is mine worth realistically? It has low hours and fully loaded.

Less if you sell it at the end of the season than if you sold it at the start!

Mebbe £9k?

The reason for the original question was no interest whatsoever, am I impatient or over optimistic??

OK, Quick reaction based on Dan Td5's £13.5k new one at Levington. More considered response is mebbe £12-14k. But it depends when and where you sell it. The fact it is a UK built boat should be a positive!

JBT Marine http://www.ribsforsale.co.uk have a 2001 Ribeye 6.25 with same engine as yours which they claim to have sold for £18900 but the seating layout isn't as good as yours (IMHO). Even when you factor in their reputation as being somewhat highly priced, yours must be worth at least £15,000. How long have you had your RIB for sale?

I'm no expert at valuations, but I sold my 5 year old Ribtec 585 with the same Yamaha F115 for £ 14,200 a couple of years ago.

As somebody said on another thread, you don't need a consensus, you just need one person to see that value in it.

17.5K probably looks a tad on the pricey side to experienced ribsters, so try and get some newbie out on the water grinning like an idiot as he drives your boat. I dunno local papers, newsagents window, Exchange & Mart...
