What have you towed?

Having been called upon to tow several striken craft this summer and then reading the thread about towing a Versadock (http://rib.net/forum/showthread.php?...ht=southampton) across the Solent brings to mind...What's the strangest/biggest/longest/ugliest thing you've towed on water?

What's the strangest....
Half a tree

Quote:
....biggest.....
An 8m class yacht (12 odd tones if my memory serves me right) following the demise of the wind one afternoon.

Quote:
.....longest......
A 50m towrope from which were hanging about 8,000 Optimist dinghies, (along with a few clinging to the grablines as well) again folowing the demise of the wind.... Does that count as one tow or the most number of things towed at once?

...ugliest thing you've towed on water?
Hmmm I'd thave to think about that one.

In all four categories mine would have to be 1/2 mile of high pressure air hose with a bubble maker on the end.

An old door nailed to 4 wooden barrels which was on fire. Sat in the middle was a solicitor singing some song very badly, I think it was a song by the beatles. I towed him a fair way to give his concrete shoes time to going off.
