What happened to?

When I was looking to replace my trusty Flatacraft Force4 with a bigger RIB and ended up buying my Ocean 6.25 I went to look at a Cobra that was for sale just outside Nottingham.

It was advertised as a 6M, but was at least a 7.5 when I got there, and was powered by two 1980's 85HP Suzukis.
The trailer it was on was massive, and could have been mistaken for a low-loader. It had an Orange hull with Black tubes and was fitted with a huge A-Frame with all the gear including a self-righting set.

Unfortunatly the pictures on the advert had been taken two years before, and the whole craft was now in a very sorry state.
I really wanted to take it on, but it was bigger than I wanted, the two 85HP engines would not have given it much performance, and the guy selling just wanted too much for a boat that needed a complete rebuild.

Did anybody on here buy it, or know where it ended up?

It was a good looking boat, and if it was the right price I'd have loved to have taken it on as a project.
