What glue rubber to hypalon

Looking to stick a piece of 1 inch thick piece of rubber to the front of my hypalon ribtec for the anchor line to run over so the rope an chain stop marking, damaging the hypalon tube. Was told stixall or any glue that is suitable for sticking rubber would do. Any advice on this would be appreciated.

Hypalon glue would be ideal, but pricey.

If you're not using it for structural purposes and don't care about air holding (neither of which would apply in your application), any solvent based contact cement should work. Be aware that boats are pretty hard on adhesives, and you can probably figure on redoing it every couple of years unless you use something like hypalon glue (and possibly even then.)

Use a chloroprene glue. They're usually milky-yellow in color and use xylene/toluene as the solvent. They often sold as "laminate adhesives" or "rubber contact cement".
All Purpose Contact Adhesive

I've never used anything but Bostic 2402, I've also never had a problem with it.
