What do you pay for dry, secure winter storage? North of England/Wales.

We have a unit within a mile from the end of A55 N Wales. (Exact location not to be disclosed obviously) Behind Three sets of locked gates, cameras, alarmed, no windows, 15ft by 15ft doorway.

Considering letting out for Rib/boat storage 2012/2013. Could probably take 8-10 6m ribs.

What do people pay?

Dacorum Council charge £350 for outdoor caravan/boat storage behind electric gates, unmanned with 24 hour access.

Conversely my mate pays just over £300 near Epping Forest for a space in a farmers barn. Secure/24x7 access/manned.

I pay £zero for outdoor storage, behind 3 gates, infra red cameras, crane(s), wash bay, resident fitter and dry dock!

We store a caravan in Cornwall HERE ... I know it's not Wales and their rates are quoted for caravans but there are boats in there

It's certified 'secure' to an insurance company recognised standard...and their prices are based on length, axle count and duration of stay. All the storage is covered. Access to caravan/boat/trailer is by appointment only, and, they deliver if required.

I suspect they're at the top end of the scale but might give you a bookend?

Does it have planning consent for your intended use?

In Glasgow, I pay £30 p/month for the boat to be stored in a barn at a non-working farm about a mile from my house.

I pay £1500 for my gravel space at the marina, it is alot but I'd signed a contract for my last boat but they let me move to a half price trailer if I saw out the contract. Security is so good they refused to let me take the boat out on the trailer.
