My XO 270 is from the same family as Axopar but has loads more room and will do 40 knots

I like it, dreadnought bow, high freeboard, enough cabin space to put the kettle on in a F6-F8.

It's also got a loo for the Mrs and a fridge for the beer and with the front bowthruster an old fart like me can easily handle her

I had to do it as my boat is now on the water for 12 months a year, after my whole life with ribs - beautiful boat though!
It’s a Cormate U23 Supermarine with a 200hp Verado.

In an ideal world, I definitely would too!
When I bought it we came from Poole to Hayling Island in a force 6/7 and it was absolutely bloody wonderful.
I may have been starved of boating for a little while but god it was fun!

We've still got the Scorpion,but my son Ross is now skipper.I bought the XO because it was a nearly new boat and I am very pleased with her. The hull is aluminium with grp topsides and I was a bit concerned about hull noise ,but she is very quiet.I haven't taken her out in the really big seas that we have taken Fast forward through but so far I am very impressed with her handling.She has a retracting intercept blade system called Zipwake instead of trim-tabs ,very fast very efficient I have kept her in a Marina for the past Twelve months ,it's so easy to" turn key & go" but I hope to buy an aluminium Gekho trailer for her next month,she will be just on the legal limit for towing and maybe tow to Spain next year.Got to do what I can when I can !!

Are you sure about the weight? I understood they were over 3500kg overall.
Gecko estimated 640Kg for a trailer of that sort of size.
