Whale TCL2 type Hatch - Need Help To Buy

Hi Pete7 helped me to identify the Hatch I am seeking, it being a TCL2 type hatch.

They are not available in Oz, and the hatches they sell here are threaded and seize up due to debris getting in the threads.

Anyway, I contacted Safety-marine.co.uk, but they have not got back to me.

I wish to buy 2 from a reputable store that can send to Australia. Can anyone help with a store or sell directly yourself?

Would appreciate help. some other sites I found do not ship outside of europe.

Thanks for the Offer Chewy. If I can find a store that will ship direct it will be cheaper as I avoid the VAT (helps with shipping costs). However, I will come back to your offer if I hit a brick wall. Cheers.

It is a whale brand, but the item is referred to a kit. It identifies the hatch, locking arm, but does not make clear if it incudes the outer screw-down plate for which it all assembles to. There is no picture either to show what is included.

Does anyone know? I have sent an email to them now. If anybody is in communication with Megastore could you clarify if it is the complete hatch. That would help me a treat. I am sure when I send emails I am doing so in the same language as you all speak. Maybe they are having difficulty understanding my Oz accent.

I still have not heard back from safety-marine whom are advertising on this site.

Suggest you read the thread on the Marine Megastore before placing an order. Personally they are the last people would buy something from given the way they have treated member of this forum.

You could try sending Keiron an e mail and see if he can help you, he is known to us and posts reguarly on here. How many are you after ? if they are not imported into Aus then looks like the perfect opportunity to go into the import business. Hock them around the commerical builders in Aus and start trading. If you are good in 30 years our Queen will tap you on the shoulder with a sword and you can become Sir, then have your own tele programme recruiting apprentices.
