That pooch has really got to stop wearing ladies attire,, it can't be doing P.D. any good at all.

The locals will surely know best but we have had some brilliant cruising weeks out of......

Holy Loch Marina ( Petrol & Diesel ) close to Dunoon
Portavadie ( Petrol & Diesel ) complete with Holiday Cottages
Dunstaffinage Marina ( Fuel at Puffin Divers ) Oban Way , Wide-Moth Frog Hotel in Marina
Isle of Skye , Kyleakin . ( Boat trips from Portree almost guaranteed to see the Sea Eagles )

I would strongly advocate tying up with a RIBnet ( or Biboa ) gathering so travelling in convoy , you might go to places that you just wouldn't get to on your own.....

Ye I agree Ben, nothing better than local knowledge , unfortunately the Easdale gathering is a bit to early for us but nearer the time maybe some of the local boys can meet up with us for a bit of a summer ribbing shinndig

Technically I wont profit from the business as im only the manager not the owner, its nice to get fellow pirates staying at our site. We get large groups of divers, sea kayakers and fishermen. Not so many ribs unless the divers bring their own.

Another recommendation for Cologin Chalets, spent many a happy evening in the Barn Bar on dive weekends.
Another to consider is Tralee Bay Caravan Park in Benderloch just north of Oban.

www.tralee.com

They have caravans and lodges, We go there frequently, Beach on the doorstep, they have their own slipway, site is very well looked after and staff are great. No pub though.

As for the ariel video of Seil Island, the beach they took off from was the site of my 2nd dive way back in '85. Lovely place.
