Bit of a delay in putting this up but here we go,
We set out at 3am in the morning on a 400 mile trip to Easdale in this:Attachment 113393

Wondering what the hell we were doing but fortunately we were greeted with this when we finally reached Easdale 10 hours later.
Attachment 113394

We spent the weekend in the company of some great people during the Rib Rendezvous and the weather was kind to us. It was useful to gather some local knowledge about the surrounding area and gather some locations for camping later in the week.

a few pictures of the Rib rendezvous:

Thanks to all that attended the weekend, Tony for organising and Trish at the Garrach Mhor, and hopefully I will be up again next year. Will post some pictures of the following week up next.

We set off on the Monday from Easdale heading south in pretty blustery conditions and headed for a cove on the northern tip of Jura that had been recommended to us.

if you look closely you can see our tents on the bank.
Beautiful sheltered spot with seals popping up every few minutes in the bay, Otters playing around in the rock pools and almost every direction you looked you would see deer or wild goats staring back at you!
We spent 2 nights here before heading up to Tobermory and the comfort of a hotel for a couple of nights!

We headed back on the Saturday to Easdale and then on our long journey back to Shropshire.
A fantastic experience that I hope to repeat next year.
